Do you have a physical showroom or just a virtual one?                                                                                                                                                               No, we do not have a physical showroom as our name implies. Why do we use the name 'Showroom'? It may seem deceiving. When we first started our business approx 8 years ago we did set up a 'showroom- like' atmosphere in local nursing homes. This gave the residents, their family members or aides the opportunity to shop for their clothing needs in a boutique-like ambiance with clothing most suitable to their lifestyle and needs.  In order to reach a greater worldwide customer base, we recently launched our website as well. This makes it possible for all elderly or disabled, even those residing in their own home, assisted living or health care facility of any kind, to be able to purchase regular or adaptive clothing and accessories.

I am a size 2X. I feel like I am being 'penalized' by having to pay an extra $2 for the dresses I often purchase.                                                                 Yes, many of you may have noticed that many of our clothing do not have one set price for all sizes. As the sizes get larger we must charge extra for added labor and material costs involved in its production. Instead of having a flat rate price (usually the highest) we will charge according to the size you are ordering. That way we can keep our prices down for the smaller sizes and adjust the price if a larger size is needed.

Many of clothing items do not have a place to choose a color on that item?

Most of our clothing is manufactered to provide special needs clothing for residents in nursing home or other health care facilities. We therefore cannot have the same garment in all sizes for all the residents without having them look like they are in uniforms! Also most adaptive clothing is sold for their function. We most certainly do want to please your taste, so please indicate what your color preference in the comment field that can be found after the item's  description. We will try our utmost to please you. If you are ordering several different item just ask us to 'coordinate'.

 

I would like to pay by check. How do I place an order?

You can place your order online or by phone. Just select the 'check' option on the checkout page. Submit your order and print the confirmation page. Then just mail your check to Adaptive Clothing Showroom 12 Remsen Ave. Monsey NY 10952. Your order will be shipped when the check has cleared.

 

Do you ship to countries outside of the USA?

Yes, we do ship to Canada and all international destinations. We ship via United States Postal Service (your choice of International First Class Mail or Priority). That is the most economical way. After you place your order, we will quote and notify you for your approval of the shipping charges-depending on which service, dimensions and weight of your package. When you place your order online the order processor may calculate an erroneous shipping charge, we will just add any additional amount if need be. If you would like an approximate estimate you can go to www.usps.com and click on International Shipping.
